Past eCM Scientific Editors and members of the International Review Panel

Note

The eCM council have decided that authors of published papers in eCM should be available to review for eCM. The rationale behind this is that your peers have volunteered their time to bring your work to publication, hence, we expect all our authors to also review for eCM.

(eCM council consists of the scientific editors, pre-production and production editors, and the Editor-in-Chief as the chair, and meets a minimum of once per year before the eCM congress)

Application to review for eCM

eCM realizes that our expert reviewers greatly contribute to the eCM journal's success and the rigorous review system directly impacts the quality of the journal we publish. eCM was one of the first open access scientific journals and also initiated the transparent review process (now known as open peer review) including a transparent route to becoming a member of the eCM International Review Panel.

eCM reviewers are openly named to the authors and their questions in the "Discussion with Reviewers" section, unless the reviewer has requested to the scientific editor in writing that their names are withheld. This only occurs with papers that will be published.

eCM is an open and transparent journal. After 8-10 well rated timely reviews (based upon speed, relevance and quality) from the scientific editors who invite you to review, you can apply to join the International Review Panel. Just email the Editor-in-Chief that you have completed the 8-10 reviews and he will check the ratings from the eCM Scientific Editors to see if you qualify to join and then nominate you at the years journal council meeting.

Reviews should be performed within 2 weeks to ensure a fair and speedy process.

If you want to review for eCM and possibly join the International Review Panel in future, please register at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ecm and click create account on the top right hand corner. Once you have completed this along with keywords, please send a 2 page CV to ecm at aofoundation.org along with the list of keywords that may be passed onto all eCM Scientific editors to know that you are keen to review for eCM.
