eCM Journal (Eur Cell Mater), as the first Not-for-Profit Open Access journal in the world in the musculoskeletal field and arguably the first Open Access journal in the world (founded in 1999 and online in 2000) was created and is run by scientists working at a Not-for-Profit research foundation. eCM aims to keep the costs to authors as low as possible, while maintaining full open access to everyone all over the world. As the journal is growing and the publishing industry is becoming more complicated, the journal has now hired a full-time production editor. In the culture of giving, support continuation of this pioneer Not-for-Profit open access initiative. Support this endevour by donating to eCM journal.
